September 30, 2017 Barehide Ranch’s INAUGURAL 5K NUDE STREAK!

Barehide Ranch is a fun, rustic, nudist club west of Fort Worth, Texas. This is the new name for the ARMADILLO RESORT.

The 5K course is genuinely cross country: rocky trails, dirt paths through an oak forest, a trail through a grassy meadow, and a section of gravel road. It includes some modest hills. Awards will be given to the top overall finishers (male and female) and to the top three finishers in each 5-year age category (male and female).  The event is for adults 18+ at Barehide Ranch.  Fruit, drinks, and hot dogs will be provided free to all participants. Also after race enjoy the hot tub, two swimming pools, water volleyball, horseshoes, darts. Friday night enjoy a movie, cards, karaoke. Saturday night there is a dance.

AANR Hurricane Relief Fund

MESSAGE FROM THE AANR PRESIDENT

    Any/all donations for the remainder of September will be earmarked for this fund.  Whether you donate by credit card, website or phone, or by sending a check to the AANR office, your contribution will serve only your fellow AANR members.  Please note that contributions to the organization are not deductible for federal income tax purposes as charitable contributions.

   The funds will be kept completely separate from any AANR operating funds and will be distributed on a case by case basis to clubs and members in immediate need.  How much AANR can distribute depends upon you.

As you, I am watching the progress of Hurricane Irma with a broken heart.  The damage already done to AANR clubs and members is devastating, and the forecast is that it will only get worse.  My thoughts are with all of the AANR family that is in the path of the storm.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Peach Streak clothing optional 5K at Bell Acres Resort! We will be having Terrapin Brewing beer for all finishers (21+) pool side for free and also a BBQ. Cornhole, sand volleyball, spikeball and poolside music played by live DJ to follow.

New for 2017, there is also a Naked Beer Mile Fun Run on Sunday October 1. So make a full weekend of it and come out on Friday night to campout, Saturday morning for the Peach Streak 5K, stay for the beer and BBQ and fun times then stay or return on Sunday for the Naked Beer (or carbonated beverage) Mile at 12 pm. All Beer Mile finishers will receive a special prize to show their achievement.

Sept. 23, 2017 Bare Booty 5K in Southern California

Come on out to beautiful DeAnza Springs Resort in Southern California and run in the first annual DeAnza Bare Booty 5K!

We are expecting a great crowd of runners and walkers from across Southern California and beyond!

Participants will navigate our 3.1 mile course and then finish in front of the DeAnza clubhouse. We will have two water stations along the course, and then have Gatorade, water, fruit and granola bars at the finish area.

Awards will be given to first overall male and female finishers and first place finishers in each M/F age group as well. Raffles will be drawn and given away after the awards conclude. All participants will be given a raffle entry.

All participants will be given a commemorative race t-shirt in their size they gave at registration. No pre-race packet pickup will be available. Vendors will be available and DeAnza has a full service restaurant/bar and grill so bring some cash and plan to spend the whole day with us in Bare-a-dise!

Post race entertainment will be announced on September 1st!

Sunny Rest August 2017 Bouncing Buns 7K Results

The Sunny Rest Resort 7K clothing optional trail race results are now online. 118 entries makes this one of the larger nudist races. Sunny Rest is about 20 miles north of Allentown Pa, a bit south of Scranton.

Hour Magazine feature on Turtle Lake Resort

 

I have run the Turtle Lake 5K twice now. You are not allowed to take photos there (the article tells of the resort manager grabbing somebody’s phone at poolside and actually tossing it in the pool). I just LOVE this outdoor train set at one corner lot. Now I have a photo I can post. Anyway, no mention of the TLR 5K run in the story, but it is a good overlook of nudist resorts in Michigan.

The author did leave out a second “swinger” resort in Michigan. There are six, but I am told by somebody in mobile home sales that there are a few more private mobile home parks that allow nudity inside, but these are not resorts.
